on your wedding day If you wish I am happy to start with photography as the bride is getting ready but this is completely your choice, of course! Most couples will want a few group photographs at their wedding and I take pride in efficiently working through those groups I have been asked to arrange - setting them up quickly and quietly but, above all, in a friendly way. This allows you more time to spend with your guests and me time to photograph you with them in a more natural style. It is very satisfying that couples so often say afterwards that they weren't even aware of many of the photographs being taken and also that their guests commented on how unobtrusively I worked. Many of the best images are captured in this way, as they happen, un-posed and spontaneously. I am constantly on the lookout for photographs that will help illustrate the occasion. These can include anything from people chatting, a detail on a dress, a bunch of flowers, or maybe a table place setting. Take a look at my gallery for examples. Every wedding is different and I never know how many of these distinctive images will occur, for this reason I do not put any limit on the number of shots I take - it is usually well over 300, often over 600 and you have them all! Coverage runs throughout the day and normally includes your first dance although I can finish sooner (and slightly reduce my fee) if you prefer. When the photography is complete, I transfer all the shots onto two discs; one I keep to prepare your enhanced files and prints, as detailed on my prices page, the other I give to you so that you have all your pictures immediately - right there and then at your reception! |
