Contemporary Wedding Photography

Thankfully, the forced formality and rigid etiquette of weddings of the past has
largely disappeared and been replaced by wedding days where the bride, groom,
their family and friends can get together to genuinely celebrate one of the
outstanding events of their lives.

My contemporary photographic style reflects this change and though some
traditional group shots are usually included most of the emphasis is on
natural, un-posed pictures. Fundamental to my way of thinking is that it is
your wedding and the photographs I take are yours.

That might seem obvious at first, but you will find that many photographers
are keen to hold onto their copyright of the pictures and will charge extra to let
you have the original files - if they let you have them at all! On the contrary, I
give you all of the photographs I take (on CD) at your reception so you can leave
on your honeymoon relaxed in the knowledge that they have turned out as you
would wish.

I also happily give you copyright (confirmed in writing) of your wedding
photographs at this point so that you can print and distribute the pictures
straight away.
